GAME DAY RECAP: February 23-26, 2026 

Yale Hockey Academy (5) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep 

An unassisted goal by Gavin Davis 2:30 in gave Pilot Mound an early lead but Matteo Di Stefano countered late in the first with his eighth goal of the season. Tony Cabelka scored the lone second period goal 2:47 in to give Yale a 2-1 lead after 40. The action would pick up in the third as Jonathan Bitonti (1G, 1A) scored on the power play and Alex Ostrovskyy (1G, 2A) added a shorthanded marker to put Yale ahead 4-1 8:18 into the third. After giving up a shorty, the Pilot Mound power play replied with back-to-back goals as Knox Burton and Nolan Harding each capitalized on the man advantage. However, Harding’s goal came with just eight seconds left, forcing his team to pull their goalie off the opening faceoff, leading to an empty netter for Maxwell Carpenter (1G, 1A), securing the Yale victory. Jason Ho (40/43) and Adam Courchesne (39/43) each faced 43 shots in net.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (3) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (6) U15 

TJ Podollan and Jagger Clark (1G, 1A) kept their hot streaks going as they each scored power play goals in the first, with Podollan doing so just 36 seconds into the game. Austin Murray (1G, 2A) would get Pacific Coast on the board 1:47 into the second as he scored his 13th of the season. Connor Ross restored the two goal CDA lead midway through the second, but the tide quickly changed. Gus Steeves (2G, 2A) made it a one goal game 59 seconds later and Greyson Ekramoddoullah tied it on the power play 30 seconds after that. Steeves gave PCHA the lead four minutes later and Rhett Resicini (2G, 2A) doubled the advantage late in the frame. Resicini added his second of the game and seventh of the season 4:38 into the third as PCHA scored five unanswered Monday afternoon. Sawyer Elke (34/37) and Bo Toperosky (35/41) were in net for their respective teams.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (1) vs North Shore Warriors (4) U17 

Each team had 16 shots on net in the first but only North Shore found the back of the net as Henry Lockhart beat Gunner Podollan (40/44) with 5:16 left in the period. Mason Strong doubled the lead 1:44 into the second and Liam Newby (1G, 1A) added his fifth of the year four minutes later as North Shore held a 3-0 advantage. Blake Celski finally fired on past Ben Boudreau (45/46) midway through the second as CDA was on the board and within two. However, that was as close as they would get as Keegan Hole scored 5:07 into the third and North Shore fended off the 18 shot third period by CDA.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (7) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) U15 

Jagger Clark (6G) set a new CSSHL single season record for any division as his six goals gave him 66 on the season, two more than Trevor Wong (U15, 2017/18) and Connor Bedard (U15 Prep, 2018/19). Those six goals also back stopped CDA to a 7-3 win, after falling 6-3 to PCHA yesterday. Clark and Koen Nicholas traded power play goals two minutes apart in the first. Finnegan Follick gave Pacific Coast the lead 1:16 into the second before Clark responded late in the second with another power play goal. Clark then scored three straight to kick-start the third and give him the CSSHL single season record. Austin Murray replied for PCHA 30 seconds later but another Clark goal shortly after putting the game out of reach. TJ Podollan (1G, 5A) added an empty netter in the final minute, giving him 53 goals on the season.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (2) vs North Shore Warriors (6) U17 

Defenseman Koi Stanshall (1G, 1A) scored his first goal of the season and Hunter Franks added his third as North Shore led 2-0 midway through the second. Blake Celski (1G, 1A) would get CDA on the board late in the second, finding the back of the net for the 20th time this season. Grayson Hunter (1G, 1A) restored the two-goal lead 38 seconds into the third and Keegan Hole (1G, 1A) put them up by three with less than nine minutes remaining. Mason Strong and Daniel Kos traded power play goals in quick succession before Arjun Gill (1G, 1A) put the game to bed 38 seconds later, beating Gunner Podollan (27/33). Ben Boudreau (34/36) made 34 saves to pick up his second win in as many days against CDA.  

CIH Academy (2) vs Ontario Hockey Academy (5) East U18 Prep 

Nathaniel Noah opened the scoring for OHA 2:46 in as he scored his 13th goal of the season. Oliver Anderton added his sixth midway through the period and Mathis-Cael Aurelius (2G, 1A) made it 3-0 late in the period. Tucker Clare scored the lone second period goal to get CIH Academy on the board and within two. Nikita Lozhenitsyn made it a one goal game 2:55 into the third as CIH Academy looked to mount a comeback. They would get an opportunity for a tying goal late while on the power play in the dying minutes, but it was the OHA penalty kill striking twice as Aurelius and Maxim Ius both scored shorthanded to secure the OHA victory.  

Lower Canada College (4) vs CIH Academy (1) East U17 Prep 

Harry Miller (2G, 1A) opened the scoring with 51 seconds left in the first while shorthanded as he beat Timofey Vasilyev (62/66) for his 14th goal of the season. Miller would score the lone second period goal, this time on the power play, as Lower Canada College led 2-0 after 40. Alessandro Golemme (2G) doubled that lead as he scored 32 seconds into the third and again with 4:38 remaining in the game. Daniel Fuchs would ruin the Efstratios Couvas (26/27) shutout bid with 1:15 left, scoring his 11th goal of the season.  

Stanstead College (3) vs Kuper Academy (4) East U17 Prep 

Angelo Jr Colletti (1G, 2A) scored his 23rd goal of the season 5:22 into the first to give Kuper Academy a 1-0 lead. With Colletti in the box, Julius Mollica would score shorthanded to give Kuper a 2-0 lead 1:47 into the second. Kristian Tlstovic and Joshua Seeback countered for Stanstead to tie the game midway through the second. Thomas Issa would restore the Kuper lead 56 seconds later before Mathieu Genereux levelled the score once again with a power play goal 1:06 after that. The two teams looked destined for OT until defenseman Luca De Pastena (1G, 1A) scored the game winning goal for Kuper with two seconds remaining. James Barker (28/31) and Jaxon Ford (30/34) were in net for their respective teams.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (2) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (11) U17 

Defenseman Wesley Padilla (1G, 1A) opened the scoring 24 seconds in for CDA, but it was all PCHA from there and they would score two in the first, five in the second, and four in the third en route to an 11-2 win. Trent Porter (4G, 3A) led the way with seven points while captain Jackson Squire (2G, 3A) had five points of his own. Oliver Boniface (45/47) made 45 saves for his 10th win of the season.  

Ontario Hockey Academy (5/SO) vs Lower Canada College (4) East U17 Prep 

Yehor Pyshalko (2G, 1A) scored 7:05 in and again 6:58 later as OHA grabbed a 2-0 advantage. That advantage grew to 3-0 as Mykyta Staskevych (1G, 1A) scored shorthanded 2:30 later, scoring for the 14th time this season. William Lynam (1G, 1A) would get LCC on the board less than a minute later, scoring on the same man advantage his team previously allowed a shorthanded goal on. David Fellen and Maksym Shtepa (1G, 1A) traded goals midway through the second before Alex Gervasi (1G, 1A) made it a one goal game heading into the third. Harry Miller (1G, 1A) would tie the game with just 32 seconds left to send the game to extra time. After neither team scored in overtime, both Staskevych and Pyshalko scored for OHA while Matvii Kulish (55/59) stopped two-of-three LCC shooters to give their team a 5-4 win.  

Prairie Hockey Academy (8) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U15 

Lochlan Kisslinger gave Notre Dame the lead 1:18 in but Lucas Duchscherer (4G, 2A) and David Osiowy countered for Prairie with power play markers and Maguire Lepp (1G, 3A) made it 3-1 before the period ended. Creighton Ellis brought Notre Dame within one 6:53 into the second but Duchscherer and Cruz Kujundzic-Pruden (1G, 1A) scored in the final minutes of the second to make it 5-2. Prairie would pour it on in the second with 19 shots on goal, getting a goal from Deklan Street (1G, 1A) 5:35 into the frame, before Duchscherer added two more to give him four in the game and 21 on the season.  

Calgary International Hockey Academy (1) vs Edge School (5) U15 

Cohen Snukal-Lyon opened the scoring late in the first as he found the back of the net on the power play to give Edge a 1-0 lead. Brody Boghean tied the game 14:06 into the second but Satoshi Takeda (1G, 1A) scored the eventual game winner 2:34 later. Edge would give themselves breathing room in the third as Kyson Sylvester scored on the power play before Jake Sander (2G) added two even strength goals. Carter Gideon (39/40) made 39 saves to record the win.  

Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (1) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (9) U17 

Maximus Scheffer (1G, 4A) led the way with five points while Hudson Elke (2G, 2A) and Trent Porter (2G, 2A) each had two goals and two assists and PCHA beat CDA 9-1 Thursday. Kingston Fisher (1G, 3A) chipped in with four points of his own and Leon Auburger (26/27) made 26 saves in the win. Haruga Kondo scored the lone CDA goal in defeat.  

Edge School (3) vs OHA Edmonton (12) U15 Prep 

OHA Edmonton outshot Edge 19-5 in the first but only had a one goal lead to show for it as Nate Harrington scored 2:15 into the game. James Butterwick tied the game 3:05 into the second but it was short-lived as Ian Kim (1G, 2A) restored the OHA Edmonton lead two minutes later. Austin Rideout (1G, 2A), Artello Forestal (3G, 2A) and Kelson Hawreluik (1G, 1A) all added goals before the period ended as OHA Edmonton held a 5-1 lead. It was chaos in the third as the two teams combined for nine goals, giving OHA Edmonton the 12-3 win. Forestal would score twice in the third to complete the hat-trick and lead his team with five points. Rowen Germain (19/22) and Cohen Spencer (47/59) were in net for their respective teams. 

OHA Edmonton (7) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep 

Gavin Faul (2G, 1A) scored the game’s first goal midway through the opening period to give OHA Edmonton a 1-0 lead. Aedan McCarry and Walker Filewich responded for CIHA with goals 35 seconds apart to give them a 2-1 lead. Miles Hartmann replied 1:08 later for OHA Edmonton to even the score heading into the intermission. In the second it was the visitors who struck twice in quick succesion as Keenan Fox (2G, 2A) and Rhett Hudson scored 15 seconds apart inside the opening minute of the period. James Matheos would get one back for CIHA late in the second, making it a one goal game. OHA Edmonton would start the third strong, just like they did in the second, as Faul scored 37 seconds in. Fox would add his second midway through the period and Bronsyn Mouille put the game out of reach with his ninth of the year with 3:57 remaining. Dysen Loewen (28/31) and Ben Hakes (39/46) were credited with the win and loss for their respective teams.  

Ontario Hockey Academy Mavericks (3) vs King’s-Edgehill School (4) East U18 Prep 

KES grabbed the game’s first goal 13:05 in when Grady Betts (1G, 1A) scored his 13th goal of the season. Jagger Hann doubled the lead 7:12 into the second but OHA Mavericks were quick to reply as Manuel Beaudoin got them on the board 28 seconds later and Roman Khoroshilov (2G) tied the game 1:13 after that. Alex Doyle (1G, 2A) would restore the KES lead less than four minutes later, a lead they would hold until 2:03 into the second when Khoroshilov scored his second of the game. KES ultimately would find a game winner as it came off the stick of Liam Nash with 10:51 left to play, and Mikko Robichaud (26/29) would make 26 saves as KES held on for the win.  

Edge School (9) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (0) U17 

Brik McCord Cooper hit double digit goals on the season just 24 seconds in, setting the tone in what would end as a 9-0 Edge School victory. Trent Caines (3G) recorded a hat-trick, Devin Kian Shape (4A) led all skaters with four points, and Emerson Popil (31/31) made 31 saves for his third shutout of the season.
